Alexandros Zachos
Alexandros Zachos is a software engineer working at the Centre for Hydrology and Informatics (CHI) in the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering at NTUA. He is focused on Software Development and Data Management Systems. He works as a consultant for EEA in the European Topic Centre on Inland, Coastal and Marine Waters (ETC/ICM), where he serves as Data manager of WISE SoE Water Quantity dataflow (WISE-3) and developer of software solutions of the Water Accounts tasks. He has also worked in the EU funded research project FLIRE (LIFE+). He provides IT solutions for the software demands of the laboratory and he is also responsible for the development of applications with hydrological aspect for EU and GR funded projects. He supports the web infrastructure of the Hydrological Observatory of Athens. His position at CHI aims to combine software engineering skills with hydrological demands.
